Esan Central, 'Chairman' Novelty Match, Played In Eidenu-Irrua By: Our Correspondent As part of the activities to mark the one year of purposeful governance of Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, in office, as the Chairman of Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, a novelty football match was today,  Monday 29th December 2025, played in honour of the Chairman. The football match held at Eidenu Primary School, playground. Iwelomen, Ebhabha Families Set To Celebrate Life Lived By Their Matriach By: Oriaifoh Godwins The families of Iwelomen, of Ivue-Uromi, and Ebhabha of Ebhojie,  Ebhoiyi-Uromi, both in Esan North East Local Government, ENELG, area of Edo state, are set to celebrate the life lived by their matriarch, Late Princes Asetu Iwelomen, nee Ebhabha, who departed this world at the age of 94, in the early hours of Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at her residence in Ivue-Uromi.  According to the families, the four days event will begin on Thursday, 29th January 2026 and end on Sunday, the 1st of February 2026.  The families also announced that, a vigil Mass will be held in her honour, in her residence, Iwelomen compound, in Ivue-Uromi, on Thursday, 29th January 2026.  On the 30th of January 2026, will be the lying in state of her body, as well as the Requiem mass, and interment.  Saturday, 31st January 2026, will be the day for the entertainment of guests, while Sunday, 1st of...
