Security Beef-up In Esanland: NSCDC Commissions Divisional Headquarter In Uzea By: Oriaifoh Godwins The people of Uzea, in Esan North East  Local Government, ENELG, Area of Edo state, yesterday, February 14th 2026, heaved a sigh of relief, as the Nigeria Security  and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, commissioned a divisional headquarters in Olinlin-Uzea, to beef up security against the incessant spate of kidnappings and other related crimes that has been a challenge to the people in the environ. In his address delivered by the Deputy Commandant of Corps, DCC, O B Morantiola, The state Commandant of the  NSCDC, pointed out that the event marks a significant milestone in the collective determination to fight crime, strengthen the security architecture, and deepen community safety in Uzea Kingdom and its environ. Iwelomen, Ebhabha Families Thank God For Successful Burial Of Mum By: Oriaifoh Godwins Following the peaceful and successful burial ceremony of the Iwelomen Matriarch, Princess Asetu Iwelomen, Nee Ebhabha, who died on the 12th of November 2026, the Iwelomen and Ebhabha Families held It thanksgiving service at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ivue-Uromi, to thank God for the life their mother lived, and for the successful celebration of her life. During the Thanksgiving Mass, the officiating Priest, Reverend Father Jonathan Ibeawuchi, Who commended the Iwelomen family members for their unity, also encouraged them to continue from where their mother stopped in the service to God. Saying; "... Princess Asetu Iwelomen, lived a fulfilled and exemplary life in the service of God".
