Ugbesia Distributes Wrappers To Over 500 Women In His Ward

On Saturday the 6th of June 2026, High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, JP, the Chairman Edo State Traditional Medicines Board, TMB, distributed wrapers to women in his Ward, Ward one of Esan Central local government area of Edo state, on the occation of the opening of Asiwaju Tinubu 2027 campingn Secretariat.

The event took place at the Secretariat that he built and converted for the purpose and activities of the 2027 presidential election.


Speaking, High Chief Ugbesia who commended the efforts of Governor Monday Okpebholo, the Edo state governor, for his developmental efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Edo state, across the three Senatorial districts, also said; "...I must add that, the exploits of Governor Okpebholo wouldn't have been possible without the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu".


Continuing, High Chief Ugbesia announced to the women, and everyone present, that, he is spending his personal money to buy the wrappers and also render assistance to the numerous people that approach him every now and then, for financial assistance, saying; "...the money I am spending is not from the governor neither is it from the government of Edo State. You all know that I made my money ever before I went into politics".


"I am doing this to ensure that our party, the All Progressives Congress, remain strong and formidable in Edo Central Senatorial district, in Esanland and Edo state in general".

The men also got branded campingn caps, of all the APC candidates, including that of Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, the Esan Central Local Government Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Fada Eigbiremolen, the Esan Central APC House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, the APC House of Representatives candidate, Senator Joseph Ikpea, the APC candidate for Edo Senatorial district.


Present at the event, are High Chief Christopher Abuya, the APC Vice Chairman for Edo Central Senatorial district, Hon. Prince Abdullahi Momodu, the APC Chairmanship Candidate for Esan central local government area, and a host of other APC Chieftains.
