Security Corps of ISTH Celebrates End of 2025
... security is prime in every organization -CMD

The Chief Medical Director, CMD, of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, Professor Reuben Agbons Eifediyi, has commended the Security Corps of ISTH, for their pragmatic and effective service in the year 2025, saying; "...we all know that no organization can operate in an insecure environment. Security is a priority. When people are safe in an environment, then they can work without any fear".
"I commend the Chief Security Officer for his performance, professionalism and pragmatism in coordinating the affairs of the Security department of the hospital".
The CMD also used the opportunity to announce to the Security Corps of the hospital that a more befitting and modern security post will be constructed for the unit, after the completion of the perimeter fence for the hospital; and that, the hospital's gate, will also be beautified and remodelled".
Finally the CMD commended the initiative of the Chief Security Officer, High Chief Henry Okodogbe, for initiating and organizing the end of year get-together, where the security Corps come together to celebrate, saying; "...it shows the Spirit of oneness and belonging; it also goes a long way to motivate the staff who eventually will see themselves as stakeholders in the success of the hospital".
In his response, the Chief Security Officer, who thanked the CMD and the other principal officers of the hospital in attendance, for finding time to attend the event, appreciated the CMD's initiative and innovative acumen in the hospital, saying; "...the CMD's innovations and initiatives has added quality values to the progress of ISTH".
The Principal Officers of the hospital, that accompanied the CMD, included the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, CMAC, Dr. Obagaye Michael, DCMAC, Dr. Christian Erubhubie, the Director of Administration, Mrs. Edna Inegbedion, Dr. Ehi, amongst others.
