Prince Abdullahi Momodu Flags off For Esan Central Chairmanship

The atmosphere was electric, the spirit of the people, high and nature stood still, as Prince Abdullahi Momodu officially flagged off his campaign to contest for the Chairmanship of Esan Central Local Government Area.

The flagoff of Prince Abdullahi Momodu, aka Superlee, campaign for the Chairmanship position of Esan Central Local Government Area, is a moment that marked not just the beginning of a political journey, but the awakening of a shared vision for progress, unity, and purposeful leadership service of Esan Central Local Government Area. It held today, Sunday, 19th October 2025, at the All Progressives Congress, APC, Secretariat, in Irrua.

With the drums of hope echoing through the crowd, and the banners of change fluttering proudly, the Prince stood tall, as a symbol of INTEGRITY, COMPASSION, and COMMITMENT to service.

Prince Abdullahi Momodu's message was clear and resonant: *Esan Central deserves a visionary Servant-Leadership that puts the people first, rekindles community pride, and drives sustainable development for all.*

Prince Abdullahi, Momodu, addressing members of the all progressive congress and the mammoth crowd that followed him to the APC secretariat said; "I promise to honour our elders, take care of our women and our Youths will also be considered in the scheme of things".

"...I am going to follow in the footsteps of our amiable governor, His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, in ensuring that we create a new Esan Central Local Government Area, that we will all be proud of..."

Also, Prince Abdullahi Momodu's wife, a Medical Doctor, also spoke in support of her husband, saying; "...as a Doctor, she will support her husband in ensuring that Healthcare facilities in Esan Central Local Government Area, get the requisite attention, so as to avoid some of the challenges that are experienced in the Health centres".

With the calibre of people, and crowd that were in attendance, as well as those that called the Chairman-to-be, to express their solidarity, one can only describe the Flagoff as a Pre Victory Celebration.
