Igbo Community In Edo Central Thanks Okpebholo, Throws Weight Behind Ikpea

The Igbo Community in Edo Central Senatorial district, in a recent gathering held at the residence of their grand Patron High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, JP, have hailed the unprecedented practical governance of Governor Monday Okpebholo, and the emergence of Hon. Dr. Joseph Ikpea,as the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate in the forth coming Edo Central Senatorial district by-election.
Speaking after their brief gathering at Chief Ugbesia's residence, Mr. C. Mbagu, Edo Central Igbo Community Forum, In an exclusive chat with WINNING MEDIA online, said; "...we are gathered here to express our unalloyed support for Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the way he is leading Edo state; and since Dr. Joe Ikpea, is his candidate, we are resolute on supporting him in this August 16 election.
"We also use this gathering to pass a message to the Governor of Edo state, through Chief Abudu, because we know we cannot meet with him now, as he is very busy preparing for the election; but we plan to do that after the election".
"...We also seek and want recognition in the government of Akpakomiza". He said.
Also, Chief Anthony Arungwa, the President, Esan Central Local Government Area, Igbo Community Forum, said; "as far as Chief Abudu is giving us the direction, and telling is who to vote for, I have no other thing to say, other than, agree with him, and communicate same to our people, because, he is our leader".
High Chief Abudu Ugbesia, JP, the Patron of the Igbo people resident in Edo central Senatorial district, is also the Chairman, Edo State Traditional Medicine Board.
