ESAN CENTRAL: Ward 1 Councilor, Nigeria, Others, Decamp to APC

Hon. Abhulimen Okpiahior, the Councilor representing Ward 1 in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo state, officially decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Saturday, 12th of July 2025, in his Ward, Ibore.


Speaking at the APC Party Secretariat in Ibore, the venue of the event, Hon. Okpiahior said; “…long before now, I have been seeing the performance of our governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo in Edo state, right from when he was the Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial district, and now that he is the governor of the state, his performance has become even more glaring”.

The Ward 1 Councilor who thanked Chief Abudu Ugbesia for the entertainment and reception he invited the people in attendance to be part of, also used the opportunity to promise total commitment to the success of the All Progressives Congress in the coming Edo Central Senatorial district bye-election, and other future elections.

Receiving the decampees, the APC Chairman of the Ward, Hon. Ehikioya Ehiabhi, welcomed the decampees to the All Progressives Congress, and also promised them that, even though they are just coming into the party, the APC belongs to all the members, whether old or new.

Honourable Okpiahior Abhulimen, the Councilor representing the Ward, had earlier decamped at the local government level in a rally that held in Okaijesan Hall open field, Eguare Irrua, on the 6th of June, 2025, where the governor of Edo state, Senator Monday Okpebholo, was present.
