Kidnappings, Cultism, LG Boss Commends Parents, Landlords
…urged residents to be vigilant
The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Ainiyalenhimi Iyere, has commended parents of children and wards of indigenes of central local government area for the close monitoring of their children and wards as there has been relative peace devoid of cultism in the local government area, just as he also hailed the landlords and caretakers of houses for ensuring that those that choose kidnapping as their profession do not have a safe Haven in the local government area.
Rt. Hon. Iyere made this commendation recently while speaking with a team of Media men in his office at the local government Secretariat.
The Esan central local government Boss, said; “…parents and guardians of youngsters in central local government area must be commended for ensuring that the children stay clear of cult and cult related activities. Violent reports of such activities are alien to this local government, and we must do everything possible to ensure that such activities remain alien”.
“…in spite of all the reports that we have been hearing about cases of demolition of houses and hideouts of kidnappers, in our local government, we have been experiencing relative peace, and our landlords and caretakers of houses and compounds must equally be commended.
Rt. Hon. Iyere also advised owners of uncompleted buildings to always visit the location of their facilities and ensure that unauthorised access to such buildings are promptly reported to the law enforcement agencies.
