The Chairman, Esan North East Local Government Area, Hon. Paul Akhere Uhomesili today, Thursday, 29th May 2025, congratulated the entire members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo state and Nigeria at large for the Victory of the party in the Appeal Court judgement of today, a case that was instituted by Asuelimen Ighodalo, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate in the September 2024 Edo state Governorship election, challenging the declaration of the APC candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, as the winner.


Speaking with a team of Journalists today, in his office, Hon. Uhomesili said; "...I wonder why anybody is challenging an election result that is free, fair and credible".


"The people of Edo state have long since decided, through the ballot, who the cap fits. Edo state people know who they want, and they chose rightly. The kind of people oriented projects that we are seeing in Edo state today, was not seen in the past administration".


"I cannot thank God enough for giving Edo state people the wisdom to choose wisely",


The local government Chairman concluded by congratulating Senator Monday Okpebholo, who he described as "the game changer", for the well deserved victory at the Appeal Court. 


"With His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo at the helm of affairs, Edo state is moving to the next level". He said.

Edo State Security Corps To Profile, Document Members - Coordinator  The Coordinator of Edo State Security Corps (ESSC), retired Commissioner of Police Friday Ibadin has urged personnel of the defunct Edo State Security Network now ESSC to make themselves available for profiling.
