The first hundred days in office of Governor Monday Okpebholo, the executive governor of Edo state, "is a defining period, that goes a long way in revealing to the people of Edo State, what we should expect in the next four years.

The Chairman, Edo state Traditional Medicines Board, High Chief Dr. Abudu Ugbesia Godwin JP, the Onagbonsoboleamen of Esanland, made this comment today, Friday 14th February 2025, in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online.


Speaking, Chief Ugbesia who said, "the people of Edo state has experienced eight years of nothingness, eight years of woe, of scams, of complete abandonment of the people of Edo state and the infrastructures, and eight years of deceits and executive rascality", added that; "we are now seeing a complete difference from what we are unfortunately used to. Now, the people of Edo state, are witnessing a practical governance of meaningful and impactful dividends of democracy".


"For me, I am very happy that, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma is gradually coming back to life. I am happy that the Benin/Auchi road, that was very bad, is receiving attention from Governor Okpebholo, I am happy that those school children that have been receiving lectures in a dilapidated building, are now happy, as Governor Monday Okpebholo has renovated their school. So, Akpakomiza has started very well. He has by his performance so far, proven to Edo state people, to Nigerians and to the entire world, that he means business". 


Chief Ugbesia, however, concluded by appealing to the people of Edo state to cooperate with Governor Monday Okpebholo, saying; "from every indication, this is a governor that mean well for the state".
