The Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, Esan Central Chapter, Mrs. Uwadiale Patience, said; "Governor Monday Okpebholo, is Godsent, he is like an angel sent by God to straighten several crooked paths in Edo state. He was sent by God to rescue Edo state from the sorry situation the state found itself in".
The Esan Central NULGE Chair, said this today, Friday, 21st February 2025, at the local government Council Hall, in Irrua, during the event to mark Governor Monday Okpebholo's 100 days in office.
Speaking, the NULGE Chairman, who itemised some of the remarkable achievements of Governor Monday Okpebholo, in just 100 days of his inauguration into office as the executive governor of Edo state, added that, "the first hundred days in office, achievements of Governor Monday Okpebholo, is worth celebrating".
Continuing, she said; the facilitation of several Medical students to graduate from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, the reinstatement of several staff of the university that were unduly disengaged from service, the kick-starting of the construction of a flyover in Ramat Park, Benin, to ease traffic gridlock, the palliative measures on Benin/Auchi expressway to ease the movement of vehicles, are all phenomenal, in just hundred days in office of Governor Monday Okpebholo.

Also, Dr. Austin Okosun, the Director Primary Health Care, in Esan Central Local Government Area, while congratulating Governor Monday Okpebholo on his achievements within just hundred days of his being in office, said; "...the governor is from Esan Central local government area; I am very happy that, he is making us proud. He has started very well, and by the grace of God, his performance so far, is a testimony to the fact that, more dividends of democracy, are underway".
It will be recalled that, the Chairman, Esan Central Local Government Area, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere Ainiyelenhimi, earlier in his Congratulatory Message to Governor Monday Okpebholo, had described the governor of Edo state, as a governor worth emulating, saying; "...I am challenged and also motivated by Governor Monday Okpebholo's administration of 'Promising it, and doing it'. I am challenged by the avalanche of evidence of practical governance that are experienced daily by the people of Edo state, in the past hundred days, of Governor Okpebholo's administration, and I have concluded that, Governor Monday Okpebholo, is a governor worth emulating".
Mrs. Christiana Akhere Egbele, the Head of Department of Health, of the local government, was also in attendance.
