Chairman, Esan Central LG, Meets With Ward Leaders, LGA Executives

The Chairman, Esan Central Local Government, ECLG, area of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Kelvin Iyere Ainiyelenhimi, yesterday, Sunday 17th February 2025, officially met with all the 10 Ward Leaders and the members of executives of Esan Central local government area, for the first time, to rub mind with them one-on-one, so as to know what their challenges are, and the way forward.
The meeting was held at the home of Hon. Deacon Willy Shaka Momodu, the Super Leaders of the LGA.
Speaking, the ward leaders and the members of executive who expressed their delight on the gathering, also maintained that the local government administration, is the closest to the people, as such, they now have someone to look up to, whenever things are not going well with them in their respective wards.
Responding, Rt. Hon. Iyere promised to give adequate attention and response to anyone that calls him to draw his attention to any issue in their wards, saying; "my intention is to ensure that, practical governance is felt at every nook and cranny of this local government.
"This is the local government area where the governor of Edo state hails from, and like I always say; we will continue to show good examples in practical governance for all to see.
Speaking in an exclusive chat with Winning Media Online, Hon. Deacon Willy Shaka Momodu, the All Progressive Congress, APC, super leader in the local government, said; "from my observation, the Chairman of our local government, is a perfect fit for the position. He is cool headed, focused and organised individual that mean well for this local government, and he can handle situations as they come up.
"I pray that, God in his infinite mercies, will continue to guide him so he can lead us well.
Those present at the rendezvous, include Hon. Comrade Rawlings Ason Ekeoba, the Chairman, All Progressive Congress, Esan Central local government area, Hon. Stephen Akahon, leader, of Ward one, Hon. Chief Goefery Odalo, Leader of Ward 3, Hon. Mike Enetiabor, leader of Ward 4, Hon. Bello Oyaziwolo, leader, ward 5, and Hon. Rufus Ogbole, leader ward 6.
Others include; Hon. Clement Inegbe, leader of Ward 7, Hon. High Priest Francis Ubene, Leader of Ward 8, Hon. Emma Uwagbor, leader ward 9, and Hon. Solomon Emiohe, leader ward 10; while Hon. Abuya.......was unavoidably absent.
