Happy Birthday To A Steadfast, Dogged Believer In Esan Agenda 


The Leadership and entire members of Esankugbe,  today, 21st October 2024, celebrate one of our own; a steadfast, rugged and dogged Esan son of esteemed value, Rt. Hon.  Engr. Chief Victor Sabor Edoror as God in his infinite mercies, adds another year to his age.


We are particularly grateful that your believe in Esan cause, that almost went into oblivion, has now taken the front burner, even as other Senatorial Districts has eventually keyed into it as it metamorphosed into 'Edo Agenda' that produced Edo governor of Esan extraction.


This year's Celebration of your BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY, is particularly important, and worthy to be uniquely celebrated, going by all the undeserving hard knocks, pitfalls, maligning, slandering, evil gang ups, and several other similar challenges that you have endured over the years.


Even when several others chickened out, because of their personal interests, you saw 'today', 'yesterday'.


In spite of all the victimization of non payment of your salaries, when you were unjustly removed from office as the Deputy Speaker, Edo state House of Assembly, EDHA, even when you and thirteen others, were schemed out of a midnight so called inauguration, hence denied representation of your constituency in EDHA, for a full term of four years, in spite of all your efforts and finances spent on winning elections,  you remained steadfast and resolute, that, Edo governor of Esan extraction, is sacrosanct.


Your passion to actualize Positive Changes in Esanland, in spite of all the victimizations against you, remained solid, as you again signified your interest to contest for the position of the governor of Edo state under the All Progressives Congress, APC. 


When you saw that the plethora of aspirants that signified interest in the race from other Senatorial Districts would hamper the chances of an Esan man to emerge as the APC candidate, especially bearing in mind that too many aspirants also signified their interests even from Esanland, you immediately sacrificed your ambition, and teamed up with Senator Monday Okpebholo, who eventually won; and now, Esan Agenda crystalized into Edo Agenda that produced Edo governor of Esan extraction. What else can we say, other than to give God all the glory for your doggedness, steadfastness and most importantly, grace of God upon your life.


Now that we have an incoming governor of Esan extraction, we wish to remind you that, now is the time for you to bring your knowledge and experience, as former Speaker,  Deputy Speaker and three times member of Edo state House of Assembly, as well as your network of connections to bear in supporting the governor elect to succeed in his task of creating a new Edo state that will be a rise and  shinning example to other states in Nigeria.


Once again, the entire leadership and members of Esankugbe use this opportunity to wish you a Happy Birthday, even as we salute your efforts in the political history of Edo state.

Edo State Security Corps To Profile, Document Members - Coordinator  The Coordinator of Edo State Security Corps (ESSC), retired Commissioner of Police Friday Ibadin has urged personnel of the defunct Edo State Security Network now ESSC to make themselves available for profiling.
