Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe's Mother For Burial

The Esekhaigbe family of Agua-Irrua, in Esan central local government area of Edo state, has announced the dates for the burial ceremony of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Madam Ebaidebheki Esekhaigbe, nee Osenabe of Eko-Ewu. 

According to the family, the ceremony will begin on Friday, 1st of November, 2024, when the body of the matriarch will leave Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, ISTH, Irrua, for laying in state in the compound of the Esekaigbe's in Agua-Irrua, which will be followed by service of songs and interment at Eko-Ewu, Esan Central local government area. 


The following day, Saturday 2nd November, 2024, the reception for the guests will be held at Esan Central local government area Secretariat field in Irrua. 


The matriarch who was aged 90 years, is survived by two children, Mrs. Theresa Oseregbeyen Izokpu and Gen. Cecil Esekaigbe rtd. PhD, the Okanete of Irrua kingdom, 13 grandchildren and 27 great grand children.
