Edo PDP Should Wake Up, Think Of Way Forward

A member of the 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, who is also the Director of Intelligence gathering of Akpakomiza Support Group, in the just concluded Edo state governorship election, Dr. Goddy Osa Igbaekemen, PhD, has advised the members of Edo state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to wake up from their deep slumber, come to terms with reality, and think of the way forward.

Dr. Igbaekemen said this recently in Benin, the capital of Edo state, while responding to questions from newsmen on "Take Back Our Mandate", the new slogan of Edo PDP.


Speaking, Dr. Igbaekemen said; "it appears the members of the Peoples Democratic Party, are still in a deep slumber, and they are still dreaming. They are yet to come to terms with reality. Edo people have decided, and Senator Monday Okpebholo, aka Akpakomiza, is the governor elect of Edo state".


"Senator Okpebholo is the new king waiting to be crowned on the 12th of November, and all the noise the PDP are making about taking back a mandate, is simply daydreaming".


Continuing, Dr. Igbaekemen advised the women and Youths that some PDP politicians are using to stage protests, after being paid peanuts to do so, to have a rethink, saying; "those PDP money bags are only after their pockets and stomachs and nothing more.

Finally, Igbaekemen, who applauded the leadership of Edo All Progressives Congress for their early appointment of members of the Transition Committee, said; "this shows how ready the All Progressives Congress is, to take Edo State to the next level".
