APC Christian Campaign Council, Friends of Gov. Elect, Holds Thanksgiving Programme For Sen. Okpebholo, Deputy

As the Celebration for the success of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last Edo state Governorship election, where Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, emerged as the governor and Deputy Governor elect respectively, continues, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Christian Campaign Council, a group, made up of Bishops, Archbishops, Apostles, Ministers and several professionals,  have scheduled their thanksgiving service, and awards to some outstanding personalities in Edo state to hold on the 4th of November, 2024 at the Assemblies of God Church, Oregbeni 1, by Ramat Park, Benin city, Edo State.

In a video announcement for the programme, the coordinator of the group, Bishop Solomon O. Oriaifoh, the General Overseer of Ascending Tabernacle Worldwide, said; "it is one thing to get victory, and it is another thing to enjoy the victory. We shall be praying for the governor elect and his Deputy, Edo people and APC Chieftains..." 


Speaking with Esan Magazine Online, he said; "... the programme is a way of thanking God for his mercies upon Edo state and Senator Monday Okpebholo for the peaceful atmosphere in the state, before, during and after the election, and to thank God for the outcome of the election that is in favour of Edo state people, as the other two Senatorial districts are in full support of the emergence of an Edo state governor of Esan extraction".


"When the righteous are on the throne, the Bible says, the people rejoice. The joy that followed the emergence of Senator Okpebholo as the governor elect of Edo state, is a clear testimony to the fact that, Edo state is on her way to regain her lost glory..."


"We are also going to use this opportunity to appreciate and honour some of those that made this liberation of Edo state possible..."


According to the group, notable personalities that are expected at the event, include, a former governor of Edo state, Senator Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, General Cecil o Esekhaigbe  Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Hon. Pastor Frank Omobude, the DG, Christian Campaign Council, amongst others.

The group also revealed that, the programme Theme tagged: "Aigbona, Edo, okpa ma-khin". Literarily meaning; 'This one (Senator Monday Okpebholo) shall not be killed like others before him; Edo is one', will have the following men of God ministering; Archbishop Dr. C. O Ehidiamen, of Christ Apple Mission, Uromi, who is also the Deputy PFN Chairman in Edo state, Archbishop Prof. Abhulimen  P. Josiah, Archbishop Dr. Abiye Ahonsi and Archbishop Famous Omojiate. Others include Rev. Dr. Amb.  Best James Ehinomen, Bishop Dr. Gary Ejededawe, and Rev. Frank Ejele. 


Finally, the group, by this publication, used the opportunity to invite all Edo people, as well as friends of Edo state to be part of the event.
