Some Women Seen Issuing Curses in Uromi Market, Are...

By: Oriaifoh Godwins

Chief Robert Okoinemen, aka Oduma of the Universe, who is also the Deputy Director, Contact, of the Edo Central Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has revealed that some Uromi women seen in a video, issuing curses in the market, are not married women, neither is their action a representation of the wish of the generality of Uromi people.

Speaking with Esan Magazine, Chief Okoinemen, who said, the women were politically organized by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to do what they did, added that such curses has no potency and at best, it will return to them, their husbands and families for obvious facts.

Chief Okoinemen who said; "in the first place, the way the women conducted themselves, is not the way such curses are issued in Esanland. Such curses are carried out in the middle of the night, and the women involved, will be stark naked; but for the PDP to use the women to do this, is a joke taken too far".

"God said, I will curse whoever curses you, and will bless whoever blesses you, therefore, before those women went about carrying out the abomination, they should have first find out the details of what happened. In any case, if curses can solve criminal problems, people that are stealing, kidnapping and killing innocent people all over the place, would have since been dealt with, and there wouldn't have been any need for the Nigeria Police Force..."

"Kpekus are not use to settle political problems. The reason why the women did what they did, is not defined, and moreso, their action is not in line with the stipulations of Esan tradition". Chief Oduma said.
