A member of the 2023 All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, who is also the Director of intelligence, of the Akpakomiza Support Group, in a chat with Newsmen in Benin recently, has declared that for the APC and the entire members and leadership of the party, next Saturday's governorship election is a celebration, not a do or die, like the outgoing governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, declared.

Speaking, Dr. Igbaekemen said; "election is not war. Election is a process of choosing who governs the people. So, why should it be a do or die affair? If truly, Obaseki means well  for Edo people, and he is sure he has nothing to hide, he wouldn't be imposing Asuelimen Ighodalo on Edo people, and thereafter, come on public space to declare that, the election will be a do or die".


"The people of Edo state has rejected Obaseki and also rejected his annoited choice, Asuelimen Ighodalo. Why should he tell Edo people it's a do or die to accept Ighodalo? This his statement goes a long way to show the  kind of tyrant that the people of Edo state has been accommodating for the past eight years". Igbaekemen said.


Dr. Igbaekemen who advised every Edo state Indigene to roll out their drums and begin to celebrate ahead of the Saturday victory, added that, the failure of Godwin Obaseki and his co travellers has been glaring since the defection of big wigs like Mike Onolememen, Matthew Urohide, Phillip Shuaibu, Senator Francis Alimikhena, Ogbeide Ihama, and several others, out of the Peoples Democratic Party, to the APC.


"I don't know why Obaseki feels he can impose his friend and business associate on Edo people, as if Edo state is his personal Estate". Dr. Igbaekemen concluded.
