Edo APC State Women Leader, Congratulates Edo Governor-elect

The Edo state All Progressives Congress, APC, state Women Leader, Mrs. Patricia Betty Okoebor, has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Edo state governor-elect, and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, the Deputy Governor-elect on their victory at the just concluded Edo governorship election, saying; "it's a new dawn in the history of Edo state.
Speaking with Esan Magazine, Mrs. Betty said; "the election was peaceful, free and fair. The people of Edo state have spoken and decided on who should lead".
"Edo people with their votes have spoken their minds. They made it very clear, through their votes that for the past eight years, Edo state has been in disarray and in a state of comatose.
So, Edo people decided to vote for Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, who have been tested and trusted".
Continuing, Mrs. Okoebor who said the governor elect, is a sitting Senator and Dennis Idahosa, his Deputy, who has been at the house of representatives for six years, both have a lot of landmarks to show as achievements in their various constituencies.
"Senator Monday Okpebholo has promised that, at least forty five percent of his Government, will be made up of women, and artisans, he has also promised that the Youths will also be well represented..."
"We are very happy about the outcome of the election, and we are grateful to God for what he has used Edo people to do".
"On behalf of the entire women of Edo State, I heartily congratulate Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza, and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, aka Denco, on their well deserved victory".
Asked how possible it will be for Senator Monday Okpebholo to undo the destruction on Edo state over the years, Mrs. Okoebor said; "it is very easy to destroy, but very difficult to repair. It is going to be a gradual process. Edo state government is owing so much; for the past eight years, we have been experiencing an MoU government with nothing to show, but thank God respite has finally come".
With Senator Monday Okpebholo, and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa at the helm of affairs, it's a new dawn in Edo state. She concluded.
