Chief Okoinemen, gave this advice in a viral video he made after the violent attack in Benin, on Senator Monday Okpebholo's convoy, that left a policeman dead.

Advising the Youths, Chief Okoinemen said; "...those sending you to go about shooting guns, have all their children schooling overseas, but some of you cannot even pay for your children school fees here in Nigeria...use your common sense; don't go and kill and take life because of one man who has taken care of his life and that of his children..."

To Governor Godwin Obaseki, Chief Okoinemen continued; "...this is Esan project and the project of the entire Edo state..." Speaking in Esan language, he said; "Esan igbedo, Edoigbesan" adding that; "power no be sugar cane, na God dey give power".

To Senator Monday Okpebholo, Chief Okoinemen said; "...by the special grace of God, you will be declared the winner of the election, you will be sworn into office, and you will do well as the governor of Edo state; and I know, when you become the governor of Edo state, the hospitals in this state, will be better than what it is today, as we will no longer take what belongs to Edo people, including contracts to Lagos state and Oyo state.

Chief Okoinemen who also commended the gesture of Senator Monday Okpebholo in donating the sum of seven Million naira to one Etinosa a student of Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, who was diagnosed of kidney failure, also advised other Edo gubernatorial candidates to ake a cue from Senator Okpebholo's examples, saying the love for the people should be paramount in their hearts, rather than just campaigning for votes from people that need their help. He condemned the insensitivity of Governor Godwin Obaseki to the sorry state of the AAU, Ekpoma.
