Oduma Sends Clear Message To Obaseki, Edo Electorates...

As the journey to Edo gubernatorial election gathers momentum, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Assistant Deputy Director for Contact and Mobilisation, in Edo central, Hon. Chief Robert Okoineme, aka the Oduma of the Universe, in a recent video, has sounded a note of advice to the people of Edo state, to be fully at alert and not allow themselves to be deceived this time around as Edo state prepares for the September 2024 Governorship election, even as he tells the outgoing governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to get ready to vacate Osadebey Avenue, saying, Asuelimen Ighodalo that he is projecting to succeed him, is unfortunately in a wrong hand and a wrong camp.

Continuing, Hon. Chief Okoineme said; "...I don't have any problem with Asuelimen Ighodalo, as a person, but it is unfortunate that two captains cannot be in a ship, as Senator Monday Okpebholo aka Akpakomiza, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is the next governor..."


"...the people of Edo state should be mindful of supporting a guber candidate that is being projected by Obaseki that is opposed to the Benin Monarch, as that is not in our culture to disregard our traditional institutions..."


Continuing, Chief Okoinemen who reminded Mr. Obaseki and his co-travellers that a rat cannot pursue a cat out of the street, and that, according to an Esan adage, 'when you leave and abandon your good friend, you begin to live a useless life', also reminded Mr. Obaseki that, it is time for him to vacate the political scene of Edo state for good.


Finally, the Oduma reminded the people of Edo state, that, the one and only governor that can reverse the current ugly trend of events in Edo state, that Obaseki 's eight years of deceits and treacheries has plunged the state into, is that governor that grew amongst his people, that knows the people 's culture and traditions, that experienced the pains of the people and can relate with it; not a total stranger that is being imposed on the people by someone that put the APC and the PDP in disarray and does not have any regard for our traditional institutions nor the people he claims he is governing, saying Senator Monday Okpebholo, aka Akpakomiza, a home grown politician that knows and feels the pulse of the people, is the right man for the job of repositioning Edo state, as Obaseki 's eight years of nothingness, that Asuelimen Ighodalo has promised to continue with, will only spell doom for Edo state. "Don't be deceived this time around". The Oduma of the universe concluded.
