Amb. Prof. Uhomoibhi Sends  Greetings On Easter Celebration

A former United Nations Boss, and a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ambassador Prof. Martin Ihoeghian Uhomoibhi, OFR, has sent Easter greetings to the entire Christians in Edo state and beyond, as well as all those celebrating the Easter.

In his Easter message that was made available to Newmen today, Thursday, March 28th 2024, Ambassador Uhomoibhi reminded all Christians to be guided by the reason for the celebration,... the risen Christ.


He said; "On behalf of my family, and Ambassador Martin Ihoeghian Uhomoibhi, AMIU, Organisation, I wish all the Christians and non Christians alike a joyous Easter celebration, as we celebrate our risen Christ"


"...we must be reminded that, we celebrate Easter because of the victory of Jesus Christ over death. He rose from the dead, and with that, God's victory for mankind".


"... Christ's death for mankind, is the greatest sacrifice that God gave to man, to redeem man back to himself, and we pray that, as we celebrate this year's Easter, we are also guided by this fact". The statement read in part.


Ambassador Professor Uhomoibhi, also used the opportunity to urge the people of Edo state, Christians and non Christians alike, to pray for God's guidance, wisdom and protection, as we prepare for the 2024 Edo gubernatorial election.


"With these, I wish you a joyous Easter celebration". The statement concluded.
