Ojiemudiaimen Of Irrua Kingdom, Becomes High Chief

Chief Henry Okodogbe, the OMOTOR 1 of Oghara Kingdom, and the Ojiemudiaimen of Irrua Kingdom was on Friday, the 3rd of November, 2023, upgraded to a High Chief by the Okaijesan of Esanland and the Ojirrua of Irrua, HRM, Alhaji W. O Momodu II, JP, CON.

High Chief Henry Okodogbe, after the event that took place at the palace of the Okaijesan, Irrua, in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo state, hosted his friends, family and well wishers to a sumptuous reception.


In an exclusive interview with Esan Magazine, High Chief Okodogbe, who thanked God for all he has so far achieved, that he has all along been recognized and honoured for, also thanked the Ojirrua of Irrua, and the Okaijesan of Esanland for finding him worthy to be a Chief in Irrua Kingdom, and moreso, now that he has been upgraded to the position of a high Chief.

It will be recalled that, on the 26th of June, 2021, during the 50th coronation anniversary of the Okaijesan of Esanland, Chief Okodogbe was one of those that was honoured by the Ojirrua of Irrua and the Okaijesan of Esanland, and was again, on Saturday, 14th October, 2023, conferred with the chieftaincy title of the Ojiemudiaimen of Irrua Kingdom, by the Okaijesan of Esanland; just as he was earlier before then, conferred with the chieftaincy title of the OMOTOR I, (the son of the soil I) of Oghara Kingdom by the traditional ruler of Oghara Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oyibo Eshemitan, FCA, Orefe III the Ovie of Oghara Kingdom, Delta state.
