Chief Okodogbe To Get Another Chieftaincy Title From Okaijesan

The stage is set for the conferment of Chieftaincy title on Chief Henry Okodogbe, the Omotor 1 of Oghara Kingdom.
The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 14th of October, 2023 at the Okaijesan Palace in Eguare-Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo state.
Reacting to the development, Chief Okodogbe said, I am extremely happy and delighted at this title that will be conferred on me, mainly because it is coming from the Okaijesan of Esanland, and I am an Esan man. Asked what the title to be conferred on him is, he said; 'that will be revealed on that day'.
Chief Okodogbe in a pose with some Oghara palace chiefsIt will be recalled that, on the 26th June, 2021, during the 50th coronation anniversary of the Okaijesan, Chief Okodogbe was one of those that was honoured by the Ojirrua of Irrua and the Okaijesan of Esanland.
On Tuesday, 9th August 2022, HRM, Oyibo Eshemitan, FCA, Orefe III, conferred on Elder Okodogbe, the title: OMOTOR 1 (son of the soil 1) of Oghara Kingdom.
