Ideal Group of Schools, Irrua…
…IDEAL school for future champions
By: Oriaifoh Godwins
I write this piece, from the standpoint of a parent that has experienced, through my children, the outstanding values that Ideal Group of Schools Irrua, has imparted on all those that have gone through the school in the past, those that are currently going through the school, as well as those that will go through the school in future.
I may not be able to explain all the strategies the school is using to build up the products/graduands of the school that are ever found worthy in CHARACTER and LEARNING, but, one thing I know is that, they always promote and encourage excellence among the students, and as they do this, the school also ensure that the students that are not as academically sound as the top students, are challenged; this way, as the academically sound students are coming out with nine (9) credits in their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations, SSCE, and also scoring over 200 in their Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams, and performing excellently in their University Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, the students in the average and lower cadre, are also following suit by passing at least five credits in their SSCE exams, and having close to same results in the JAMB and UTME exams, isn’t this a win-win for all the cadre of students?
I write from my experience of someone whose daughter graduated from this 'IDEAL SCHOOL'. I have avalanche of testimony to support this my claim.
If this school is not an Ideal school for training future champions, I wonder how else to describe the school.
In addition to the foregoing, the school awards scholarships to all their outstanding/excellent students for a term, or a full year, depending on how outstanding such students are… all my children at one level or the other, benefitted from the scholarship scheme of the school, and are still benefitting.
In one of my discussions with the Director of the School, Sir Chief Robert Okodugha, I told him that I am highly indebted to Ideal Group of Schools, Irrua, as I am not taking for granted all that my children has so far benefitted from the school.
In this write up, though I speak for myself, I am however sure that several other parents who have benefitted in same manner can relate.
