Ambassador Professor Martin Ihoeghian Uhomoibhi, has expressed strong optimism over the victory of all the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidates in the upcoming Saturday Local Government election, in Edo state, saying the PDP stands united to ensure the victory of all it's Candidates.

He disclosed this in an exclusive chat with Esan Magazine, while expressing his opinion on the rumors making the rounds with respect to the cracks on the walls of the Edo state People's Democratic Party, PDP.

Amb. Uhomoibhi said; '...what people thought was a divided PDP in Edo state, has finally glued together like a once melted iron that has now become solid after cooling down...'

'The days of acrimonies that resulted to mutual distrust amongst the members of the PDP in Edo state are now over and with a united house, we are sure of sailing to victory...'

Ambassador Uhomoibhi who described the manner in which the different hitherto factions managed the situation as 'Politically Professional', also commended Chief Dan Orbih, Distinguished Senators Odion Ugbesia and Clifford Ordia, Rt. Hon. Chief Joe Edionwelle, Chief Dickson Imasogie, and a host of others for holding fort and 'oiling the wheels of the party'; Saying, the governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, in his wisdom, has eventually been able to fuse the hitherto aggrieved factions together, hence PDP will definitely sail to victory in the upcoming Saturday Local Government election.

Ambassador Professor Uhomoibhi, the foremost candidate with sterling qualities, aspiring to contest for the position of the governor of Edo state, in the 2024 Edo gubernatorial election, who obtained his PhD from Oxford University, hails from Ewatto in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo state.
