Rt. Hon. Sergius Oseasochie Ogun, the immediate past Member that represented Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, NASS, has advised his successor, Hon. Prince Odianosen Okojie, to be a good and true representative of his people, saying; '...this is the only way he can stand out amongst his peers.'

Rt. Hon. Ogun gave this advice in an exclusive interview with Esan Magazine, on Sunday, the 13th of August 2023 at the thanks giving service of his successor, that held at the Christ Chosen Church of God, Uromi 1.

Rt. Hon. Ogun, said; 'The totality of what the Senior Apostle Imagbe preached about today, is my advice to Hon. Odianosen Okojie...'

'...he should be people focused, as he was voted into office to represent the people. He should single himself out as a true representative of the people, and not focus on making money. Above all, he should let the fear and words of God, to guide and lead him in all his dealings.'

It will be recalled that, on the 3rd of March, 2022, Rt. Hon. Sergius Ogun, during his tenure at the National Assembly, initiated several people oriented bills, including a bill that sought to stop the children and wards of public servants from studying abroad; this bill, was vehemently kicked against by his colleagues, but Rt. Hon. Ogun's intention for sponsoring the bill, was to make the law makers and others in authority to focus on putting the educational system in the country in proper shape, since their children will also be attending schools in Nigeria.

Rt. Hon. Barr. Oseasochie Ogun, who a couple of days ago, expressed his interest to contest for Edo state governorship position come 2024, when asked under what party he is contesting, simply responded by saying; 'Edo people should stay tuned'.
